About Us
PurposeBOX has its origins in the combined expertise of 2 entrepreneurs whose experience in logistics, equipment design, food processing, fabrication and the needs in developing people groups has combined into this world changing solution. Paddy Brady and Phil Herndon have designed and brought to market a simple overseas shipping container that at destination provides the way out of the desperate cycle of poverty experienced in many parts of rural developing nations.
The PurposeBOX can process, grow and provide food or feed for local consumption or sales and distribution. The solar / battery component serves to make the system operable regardless of the availability of electricity.
Finally each system is tailored to the needs of the beneficiary adapting to the crops locally grown or enabling the expansion and optimization of other agricultural opportunities. Our equipment has processed rice, corn, fish and wheat, staples of many rural villages. We have installed dryers, grinders, mills, pelletizers and extractors to produce fish food, vegetable and nut oils and animal feed.

We know that when a PurposeBOX is set into a village and the leaders of that group work within the community to utilize the PurposeBOX to everyone's benefit positive change happens.
